The story in one sentence

A beautifully bound hardcover that says what every weight-loss book says in 60,000 words — in one sentence, supported by forty-two real, verified scientific references.

Release

INSTITUTES PUBLISH COMPLETE SCIENCE OF WEIGHT LOSS; BOOK CONTAINS ONE SENTENCE.

The Amalgamated Institutes have published The Principles of Weight Loss: Complete and Unabridged, with Full Scientific References (hardcover, 100 pages, $19.99), the first volume of The Complete Library of Human Improvement. The work distills the modern weight-loss literature — thousands of trials, cohort studies, and systematic reviews — to the single sentence the evidence supports, and prints the evidence. “We have removed everything that does not bear directly on the result,” write the Editors. The method appears on page 33. The references are real. The Institute anticipates no revisions.

Facts for fact-checkers

The finding is consistent with the published guidance of the World Health Organization, the American Heart Association, and the United States Dietary Guidelines. All 42 references are genuine, were verified against PubMed prior to publication, and are linked on the Research page. The Institutes maintain no offices and have never accepted payment from anyone.
